SMESU Landrover

The SMESU landrover is a nine seater long wheel base configuration. It was built by landrover special vehicles and used initially by the environment agency.

It was purchased by SMESU, (with the funding support from Youthlink Scotland) in 2007.

The original features of the vehicle and further customisation by the unit has provided SMESU with a versatile mobile
support unit. This includes a full roof rack, rear spotlight, light guards, industrial winch and bonnet wing checker
plating.

The landrover is out on a regular basis, providing transport for members and equipment to camps, it is also used
to provide support to members on Chief Scouts or Queen Scout expeditions. We hope to purchase a trailer in the near
future to tow bikes, kayaks and canoes.
