Uganda 2009 - Training Before undertaking the expedition to Uganda, the expedition members wiil undergo a extensive training programme. This includes a series of three dedicated training weekends covering project skills, health and welfare, first aid, fundraising, teamwork and travel procedures. The first two training weekends took place in June and September, you can watch the slideshows for each of them below. The final training weekend will take place in April. Training Weekend One - June 08 The first weekend was held at Borthwick campsite and focused on project skills, teambuilding and fundraising.

Training Weekend Two - September 08 The second weekend was held at Cambo House and focused on project skills. We team worked together to increase the width of a bridge and create a woodland footpath. The expedition was also invited into Cambo House by Sir Peter and Lady Erskine for a evening reception.
Training Weekend Three - April 09 For our final Uganda training weekend, we headed out to the craigs campsite near Bathgate. The weekend focused on the final preparations before we fly out to Uganda, this included First Aid, Welfare, Camp life, Project Skills, Kit and Itinerary.
